My first few days in Vancouver

What an unforgettable event. I spent a night in St. Joseph’s hospital as soon as I landed in Vancouver Airport. I had quite high fever and a lot of facial’s goose-bumps.

So just to be safe, I have been sent to the hospital. Nothing bad actually, regular fever but the worst was this medical bill. I almost cursed AIA (AIG Malaysia) for not being really dependable insurance company. Whatever it is, I had to pay all the cost by myself.


I supposed my first few friends in Vancouver were the hospital staffs, they were so friendly, warmth and welcoming, even the food tasted great too. I usually hated hospital’s trash (food) so much.I have been released the next day; and of course, drinking iced Coke was the first thing on my mind.
